Mom & I decided to avoid the shopping crowds and we headed for Point Lookout. It was a 2-fold mission - to find a Cave Swallow, and to retrieve a coat from her sister in Loveville. Missed the first, got the second. Even though the weather was very nice, the wind at the point was howling. Land birds were hunkered down. We did see the Harlequin Duck at the causeway. It was a scope view, but the bird put on quite a show in its interactions with the Buffleheads. An adult Bald Eagle gave us a great view with a low slow fly by. Sparrows & other birds could not be enticed from their hiding places. Lots of Bluebirds were on the wires on the roads in the area. Happy birding, ===== Kathie Lambert kbert59 @ yahoo.com Harwood, MD __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable.
