According to Sibley's the Cave swallow's range is confined to Southern
Texas/Mexico with varies rare sightings else where. Since this bird has
been seen (in numbers) migrating through MD, Where is it coming from?
Thanks,
Chris Starling

Late this afternoon we had one Cave Swallow, which appeared to be an adult,
feeding over a cornfield behind our house. It was making occasional forays
across our yard. Imagine, a Cave Swallow as a yardbird in southern
Maryland!
