I just met a former colleague. He knew that I liked birding and told me that his 8 year old grandson was also very interested in birds. He wanted to know if there were any programs, especially bird walks, in which he could involve his grandson. I could think of none. I did mention the museum at Cylburn as an excellent place for him to visit. I want to contact Irvine and Oregon Ridge Nature Centers to see if they have any such programs. But other than that I have drawn a blank. They live in the Towson area.
