Visitors that delighted Gwen and me were: Mourning Dove Red-bellied Woodpecker Downy Woodpecker Northern Flicker Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (1) - calling morning and evening American Crow Carolina Chickadee Tufted Titmouse White-breasted Nuthatch Carolina Wren Hermit Thrush (3) - one came into the garage and could not get out. When it settled down, I reached over and caught it. I took it to the door and released it. It flew to a nearby perch where it watched me for a minute before flyng off. This is the first Hermit Thrush I have ever caught in my hands. Northern Mockingbird Eastern Towhee White-throated Sparrow Dark-eyed Junco Northern Cardinal Red-winged Blackbird Common Grackle House Finch Amerian Goldfinch The Red-shouldered Hawk and Sharp-shinned Hawk that have been around lately were not seen today. I did expect one, but was busy working, and could have missed them. Mammals 12 Does 8 Squirrels Regards.
