I'm not sure if Rob will get to post our results today, so I wanted to mention that we saw a Snow Goose south of National Airport while observing from Daingerfield Island/Washington Sailing Marina. The bird was still there when we left this afternoon. In general, the National Airport area was the ducky place to be in DC today. Species seen there included Gadwall, Green-winged Teal, Mallard, American Black Duck, Northern Pintail, Greater Scaup, Lesser Scaup, Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead, Hooded Merganser, Common Merganser, and Ruddy Duck as well as Horned Grebe and Pied-billed Grebe.
