The following is a list = of birds seen. I did not count waterfowl as the only waterfowl I saw = were coming and going from the fishing grounds in shallow water. = Northern Gannets 277, Herring Gull 43, Laughing Gull 2, Forsters Terns = 21, Brown Pelican 27, ( I was surprised to see 6 adults) Bonaparte's = Gull 2739, Red-throated Loon 9, Common Loon 44, Great Cormorant 2, = Double-crested Cormorant 1, Great-back-backed Gull 44. As hard as I = looked I could not locate a little Gull in the many Bonaparte's Gull but = I'm convinced they appear on a regular basis in St-Mary's Co and will = continue to look hard this winter.
