Winter was his favorite time to sit in the pyracantha and attack his reflection in the living room windows. It was repetitive and endless -- thonk of the bill and thud of the breast, flutter back up and repeat. We'd place the screen at different heights and visual warnings in different locations, i. e. place tape, sparkling things, falcon outlines, pictures, etc. Even a photo of a cat in his favorite pane didn't work. I finally cut down the pyracantha. No perch, no thud.
