If you get a clear view of the dorsal side of the accipiter's tail, check this out: The dark bands of a juvenile Goshawk's tail are jaged in outline, and are separated from the lighter=20 bands by a thin line of white (sort of like a line of white-out separating darker from lighter). In juvenile sharpshins and Cooper's, the dark band edges are smooth and there is no line of white separating dark from lighter brown bands.
