Actually, I managed to confirm Bald Eagle use of the nest in my block in 2002 in a fairly convincing fashion. One of the juveniles either fell or was pushed out of the nest. That one, possibly injured, and way too weak to survive on its own when it was found, eventually was carried to Baltimore for rehab. Later in the summer, I heard and saw an adult on the nest. Even later, a first year fledgling appeared in our area and was regularly seen around Leeds Creek.
