This morning, Frank Schaff and I observed an adult male Eurasian Wigeon = on Mattawoman Creek from the George Wilmot Trail, Mattawoman Natural = Environmental Area.  This is undoubtedly the bird that was first = reported on November 29 by George Jett and Gwen Brewer.  In that e-mail = George provided excellent directions to the MNEA in Mason Springs.

This morning the Eurasian Wigeon was among 30 or so American Wigeons on = the far shore of the inlet beyond the old barge ruins.  Bear left at the = first fork in the trail to get to this area most directly.
