I bumped into Stan Arnold there and we were able to relocate the Brant that had been reported there recently (including yesterday's Bowie CBC). We didn't see the bird at first as it must have been tucked up against the far shore with some mallards, but then it swam out into the open and joined the large group of Canada Geese. At one point before I left it swam fairly close in front of me. Also present were some Hooded Mergansers, 1 Coot, a few Ring Billed Gulls, many flyover Crows, and an assortment of domestic Muscovey. A White Breasted Nuthatch was calling from nearby.
