Janet, it was a pleasure to meet you today. Funny you should mention a Peregrine, just after we parted I saw a Peregrine at the dam.

Just got back from Conowingo Dam, where we saw approximately a dozen Bald Eagles (half adults, half immatures) plus nearly a hundred Great Blue Herons. My non-birding family members admitted it was worth the 100-mile drive!

On the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Thruway coming back (southbound) around 4 p.m., I caught a quick glimpse of something medium-sized perched on a light
pole: dark gray back, very upright posture, raptor "jizz." Is Peregrine Falcon wishful thinking or a realistic possibility?
