Driving north on I-95 yesterday, I saw what looked like an Eastern Kingbird. It fluttered out over the highway from some trees on the edge of a rest area, I believe somewhere in the 90-95 mile area (definitely south of the exit at mile 100, where I got off). It was a very brief view at 65 mph or so, but I had a good look at a dark tail with a clear white terminal band. Overall coloring was dark above/light below with a flight pattern that fit with kingbird. How unusual is it to see kingbirds in winter? ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
