Matt Hafner and I met up coincidentally and checked out the gulls at =
Brown Station Landfill today.  We estimated the flock at about 10,000, =
more than I have seen in recent years.  We were able to find 2-3 adult =
Lesser Black-backed Gulls and one first-winter Iceland Gull. I believe =
that wonderful aroma of mature garbage is still with me.
