The handsome fellow took = off and sat in a dogwood to feed on his prize, a House Finch that had = been afflicted with Mycoplasma conjunctivitis. The kestrel was very wary = as he ate, constantly looking around as if he expected an interruption. = Later in the afternoon Nancy saw a Sharp-shinned Hawk make off with yet = another House Finch. Little wonder our yard-bird kes was wary.
