Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed I went back yesterday and found the bird that I was afraid that I miss identified on Saturday. The bird was further down the road toward Rockhall on the left mixed in with a large flock of Canadas. I went equipped with all the guides and photographs I could muster. The bird had all the markings that Jed and the field guides pointed to for Gr. White-fronted except the bird was probably four or five inches to big. I was not able to find the hybrid that was with the bird on Saturday. The bird was much closer yesterday so it allowed me excellent looks for close to 15 minutes until an Bald Eagle flew by and scared the flock which flew off. I admit that I don't have much experience with Gr. White-fronted Geese but I couldn't find any markings other than the larger size of the bird that would make this bird a domestic Greylag. I'm chalking this bird up as a prank that aliens put here just to frustate me.
