North of the bridges were really thick with ice . Lesser Scaup , Goldeneyes , Long tailed Ducks ,Mallards , the female Hooded Merganser and BuffleHeads were presant. We Left There went to The Grasonville 7 11 to get some hot drinks. We left there drove to Caroline co To Sparks Rd Delorme atlas map page 50 and 51 center of page C 4 . On the dirt section of sparks near stevenson Lane we came across a large flock of Horned Larks scoping we came across some Lapland Longspurs we tried to count the Longspurs . we each counted in a differant area of the field .We both Counted 12 Longspurs with a total of 24 birds . I had 3 Laplands in the same scope view at on point. The snow in the fields made the birds easy to pick out from the cold barren surroundings , across the field viewed from Mason Branch Rd were about 1,000 Snow Geese I tried To scope them for a Rosses Goose but no luck. After this I gave up and went Home .
