Subject:      Adult BE near Harpers Ferry (HF) on 1/20

Adult Bald Eagle sighted while driving across the US-340 POTOMAC river
bridge south of HF Monday early afternoon.  The bird was off the south side
of the bridge, i.e. side away from HF when i noticed it.  In the BRIEF time
that i observed it, i saw a light colored tail AND head on a large bird of
prey.  Maybe someone else will confirm...or has already done so.  POTOMAC is
not frozen at the moment in that area.
