MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit On Thurs. afternoon I was able to locate two of the Richardson's type Geese (B. hutchinsii) that Clive Harris reported previously at Black Hill Park (Little Seneca Res.) They were with the main goose flock, in the largest hole, by the Rt. 121 bridge. One was quite frosty looking, due to paler gray feather bases, the other a darker brown. They were definitely companions. At 4:15 they left the huge Canada flock and flew south together over the RR tracks. The Greater and Lesser Snow Geese continue here, and a group of Swans has shifted over from the Ten Mile Creek arm of the lake. Another large flock of Canadas is using the hole in the Little Seneca Creek arm. I took some distant video grabs, which can be seen at: http://www.odolep.com/arichcan2.htm Dave Czaplak ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
