Rick Sussman, Cyndie Loeper and I will take the kids to Black Hill Regional Park to look for winter waterfowl. We will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Visitor Center Our March trip will be to Layhill park on Saturday, March 8, and April's trip will be on Saturday, April 19 probably to Lake Needwood or Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. So far we have had two field trips with the club. And one thing I've learned is that there are some very good and extremely interested young birders in Maryland! If anyone knows of any young birders between the ages of 10 and 17 who might be interested in coming along, they can meet us at Black Hill or talk to me for more information.
