That reminds me of a winter a goodly number of years back when I spent some significant time looking for frozen owl pellets, which I kept stuffing into my coat pocket for later examination. Unfortunately I forgot they were there and didn't discover them again until one warmish day I reached into my pocket and encountered a large, gooey mess...complete with bones oozing from the midst of it... I really liked that coat, too.
