Well, Simone Jenion and I had about eight birds at different locations along Cedar Hall Wharf Road in Worcester Co. We got many good photographs of them since they were only 3-5 feet off the road. Cedar Hall Wharf Road forks off Cedar Hall Road (why not?) about 3 miles SW of Pocomoke City. For all you county bird listers note that there was a GREAT CORMORANT in the Salisbury Harbor this past Saturday. It is a first year bird. Simone and I got recognizable photographs of it as it sat on the steel channel wall between the oil storage tanks and the ship building yard (yes, Salisbury has a ship building company.) I have been unable to locate the bird since Saturday, but the location of the bird, along with about 6 D.-C. Cormorants is undoubtedly influenced by the location of ice on the river.
