Nancy and I participated in the Baltimore County Mid-winter count last Saturday, January 25, birding in our Atlas blocks along the Hike and Bike Trail from Parkton, MD to Freeland, MD, as well as a couple of other locations. Best birds of the day were the sparrows, with a Lincoln's Sparrow seen along the Trail near Diary Road being the highlight.
