The Wht-crowns left Old Hanover Rd's "sparrow" field sometime in Dec. Other years they stayed throughout the winter. On the other hand, the Tree Sp have shown up in greater numbers than usual (10 for the mid-winter count on 1/25) and seem to be hanging around. So figure?
