Its taxonomic name is Asio Flammeus Sandwichnesis (or something like that). While our domestic SHEO is Asio Flammeus Flammeus. Does this represent two seperate species worthy of seperate entries into my life list or are these simply subspecies like eastern and western Palm Warblers?
