It was about 200 yards off US Rt. 50 in a group of about 5000 gulls in one of the large farm fields just west of the turnoff to Berlin. Unfortunately, there is more than one large flock of gulls in the area. A non-scientific guess would be that there were anywhere from 20,000 to 50,000 gulls in the several fields on both sides of US 50. Most of the gulls were Ring-billled, but Herring and Great Black-backed Gulls were also present.
