    A visit to the Sparks Road area in Caroline County was well worth it =
this morning (between 11:00 and 12:00).  Lots of Horned Larks and =
Savannah Sparrows, and amongst them were quite a few Lapland Longspurs.  =
I counted eleven in one group.  These were flying around in the company =
of ~40 Horned Larks, but at one point the eleven chose to make use of =
the road in a nice little cluster behind my car.  A single Longspur was =
with six Horned Larks along Mason Branch Road. =20
    A single American Pipit was in the vicinity of a couple of Savannah =
Sparrows along Sparks Road but a ways south of the larger group of =
Horned Larks.
