Blackwater Refuge & Hoopers Island- saw bald eagles (3), bluebirds, = great blue herons (3), flickers, tons of canada geese, a belted = kingfisher, a lone pair (m&f) of hooded merganzers, black ducks, mute = and tundra swans, horned lark, common goldeneye, redhead or canvas back = (was close enough to tell), cardinals, black and turkey vultures, some = other ducks that I couldn't identify (I'm still learning my ducks), and = a northern harrier (which I thought was a harris's hawk but after = talking with my sister, Sharon Schwemmer, she said no). But then we = both saw the one mentioned at Terrapin Park, but I'm not sure where that = is. Would be pretty cool if I saw the same one!! Also saw tons of canada and snow geese on Rt 100 in Sudlersville (we = took a detour to visit some friends).
