They are entered into the Youth Division B, Grades 9 thru 12. These four birders are graduates of George Radcliffe's Ecology Corps at Centreville Middle School and already have two trips to the WSB under their belts. Also, two of these birders attended the 2002 ABA Junior Birder's Convention in Tucson, and one of them placed 2nd in the ABA Junior Birder of the Year competition in 2001. Zach, Will, Ben and Jim are some of the best junior birders in the state and they are looking forward to returning to Cape May. To help with expenses, they are selling blue bird nesting boxes. These boxes are made from 1x6 pine and built to last. (See the North American Blue Bird Society web site (http://www.nabluebirdsociety.org/ ) and the Eastern/Western Bluebird Nest Box blueprints. One change---this box has a flat roof.) They are asking for a $10 donation for each box, with quantity discounts available. For $12, the box will come mounted on an 8 foot 2x4.
