Most unusual for me was a Song Sparrow but lots of activity in general. The Carolina Wrens took up residence on my balcony. Holed up under the lawn chairs when they weren't at the feeders or drinking. The wrens were the biggest drinkers, the Doves and Juncos the best diggers (Doves are also the best loafers but we all know that). Best of all, a nearly Skwerl-free day. I was wondering how all those Bluebirds and Robins I saw in Middle Patuxent were doing. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Fred Pierce (DNRC)- fpierce@avialantic.com Mid-Atlantic Aviation on the Web - http://www.avialantic.com ** Mid Atlantic Air Museum WWII Weekend Airshow June 6-8 2003 - www.maam.org/maamwwii.html ** *** World Airshow News - www.worldairshownews.com ** --------------------------------------------------------------------- > -----Original Message----- > From: Maryland Birds & Birding [mailto:MDOSPREY@HOME.EASE.LSOFT.COM]On > Behalf Of Bonnie Ott > Sent: Sunday, February 16, 2003 6:50 PM > To: MDOSPREY@HOME.EASE.LSOFT.COM > Subject: [MDOSPREY] Feeder Birds > > > The most enjoyable part of the snow today was the high > activity at the feeders.
