Sunday while I was sitting at the kitchen table watching the feeder birds, the hawk swooped down and snagged a squirrel that was floundering in the snow, then flew into a tree in a neighbor's yard to enjoy the meal. Most of the squirrels are smarter, burrowing under the snow, as someone else mentioned. Bob Hartman Colesville, MD George M. What do you feed a Red Shouldered Hawk - dehydrated or live mealworms? I tried a raw pork chop with no luck. Take a squirrel, please. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
