Please feel free to share the results with me off list as I would like to know what the rehabbers had to say. I can't imagine anything bad about it this time of year. Could cause some problems among young birds becoming malimprinted on an unnatural food source. But as a supplement in the winter it shouldn't hurt. Healthwise, whole mice are a good food. Many pet shops sell feeder mice and they should be healthy. It is better than using trapped wild mice from around the house that might have ingested poisons. Steve H.
