Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" I was at the OC Jetty on Sunday, too. I measured the wind at 25 to 40 mph with a Kestrel 2000. The spray off the tops of the white-caps was really striking. It was hard to steady a scope, and the loons keep disappearing in the troughs. My best bird was an early American Oystercatcher, flying along the jetty into the inlet.
