We saw one in Malaysia in May that was 10" across! We went to the exhibit in late January, but they hadn't emerged yet. It IS great! Not too much bird-wise here. Our Fox Sparrow has deserted us as the snow has receded. However, over 50 robins eating maple buds in our huge old tree this morning, plus cardinal, tufted tit, junco, song sparrow and chickadee singing, and red-bellied woodpeckers drumming.
