At about 2:45, a RN Grebe flew by about 200 yards off the end of the fishing pier, showing trailing feet, heavy greenish bill and white wing patches fore and aft. It was going north to south and landed somewhere off the point at Fort Howard. Also in the area were about 15 Lesser Scaup, at least 3 Greater Scaup, about 10 each Goldeneye and Bufflehead, about 5 RB Merganser, and 2 Black Ducks and a few Mallards. There were no Red-necked Grebes at my feeders today.
