"Saving" grasslands or open areas that are not "native" to the area to preserve species not native to the area is not very poductive. Are the Delmarva fox squirrels a grassland species? Or do they need trees? Do the bald eagles and osprey nest on the ground in open areas or in trees? ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
