For those of you not familiar with this park, the area where I saw the birds is off of Fort Smallwood Road, right onto Marley Neck Road and then right onto Tanyard Cove Road. At the end of this rough, pot-hole ridden road is an American Legion post. This is where the birds are. I spied with my scope at least 2 Ring-necked ducks in a flock of mixed ducks that also contained Canvasbacks, Lesser Scaup and Bufflehead. There was also another Red-necked Grebe in the same area but was not associating with the flock of ducks.
