The Tidal Basin held a single Horned Grebe and many D-C Cormorant, Red-breasted Merganser and Herring, Great Black-backed and Herring Gulls. East Potomac Park had 2 Red-necked Grebe in the Washington Channel as well as Canada Goose, Mallard, a pair of Scaup and American Coot. A Peregrine Falcon and two Osprey (one on a nest, the other bringing nesting material) were observed on top of the RR bridge.
