Most memorable was a AMERICAN WOODCOCK that froze 10 feet from us and sat while we skirted around him. A flyover MERLIN was a year first for all of us. A BROWN THRASHER seemed to have survived since H.H.'s sighting in Feb. 9 WOOD DUCKS along the river and 5 flyover COMMON MERGANSERS were our only waterfowl. The highlight of course were 18 FOX SPARROWS and many were singing!
