Here's a brief synopsis of birds of interest. Perry Point VA Center (gate area) - not much around except RBGU and CAGO. Port Deposit Marina Park: Red-necked Grebe (2) Horned Grebe (1) Pie-billed Grebe (1) American Coot (many) Courthouse Point WMA: Tundra Swan (24) Pintail Duck (>200) Ring-necked Duck (>100) American Wigeon (~50) Green-Winged Teal (~25) Wood Duck (2) Mallard (a sprinkling) Canada Goose (12) American Crows (>100) mobbing something that never showed itself The usual little birds: Song Sparrow, Junco, Titmouse, Chickadee, Downy Woodpecker, Flicker, Goldfinch Bethel WMA: Tree Swallow (>50) Northern Shoveler (2) Ring-necked Duck (3) American Coot (~30) Mute Swan (1) Killdeer (1) Cedar Waxwing (9) The roads at both Perryville Town Park and Elk Neck State Forest remain closed due to poor conditions. I walked iinto the State Forest - not much happening there. I was hoping that Pine Warblers might be in, but no luck. Just chickadees and other wintering birds.
