Scaup & Buffleheads 1 Horned Grebe 4 C. Golden-eyes This afternoon at the end of Long Neck Road I saw 2 Pectoral Sandpipers with the numerous Killdeer, 1 Horned Lark & 3 Meadowlarks. I stopped to take a good look at a Wilson's Snipe that flushed as I drove by, as I started the car to leave 4 more flushed from the hedgerow, not 10 feet from the car. A pair of adult Bald Eagles put on quite a show, one spiraling down almost to the ground before veering off followed by the other one. A beautiful male Harrier working the farm field across the road from where the Killdeer were found. One black snake sleeping on the grass in the very weak sun. One Red Fox from Camp Brown Road.
