MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" This morning, just before daylight (5:20 am) and in amongst the roar of Spring Peepers, I heard a single repetitious tooting from the swamp in back of my house in Cecil County. Could this be a Northern Saw-whet Owl? I listened to Stokes immediately, but the Stokes tooting seemed a bit more rapid and variable. The sound I heard was more repetitious and lasted a full 30 seconds.
