Well, this morning as soon as I arrived at the American Chestnut Land Trust parking lot, I heard one close by, and almost simultaneously saw another, feeding on a small Loblolly Pine by the trail head. It fluttered to the ground beside my car and flashed around the tree. Good show. Juncos have been singing for four days now, and I heard my first Field Sparrow song on Sunday. Spring Peepers started in earnest Saturday, and I heard Pickerel Frogs this morning. Unfortunately, I had decided to air out the house while I was gone, leaving one window open which had lost its screen. As a result i now have an agitated guest, a Carolina Wren........... sue hamilton, Calvert County __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
