Birds of note below: Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge Osprey 10 Bald Eagle 10 Green-winged Teal 12+ Blue-winged Teal 2 Pintail 2 Northern Shoveler 6 Wood Duck 2 Ring-necked Duck 12 Hooded Merg 2 Great Egrets 11 Greater Yellow-legs 12 Lesser Yellowlegs 1 Common Snipe 1 Pine Warbler 20+ (the trees were filled with their songs) Yellow-rumped Warbler 20+ Brown-headed Nuthatch 16+ Eastern Phoebe 2 Meadowlark 2 (heard) Eagles Nest Campground Common Loon 1 Red-necked Grebe 1 Brant 6 Red-breasted Mergs 20 Black-bellied Plover American Avocet 6 American Oystercatcher 10 Willet 1 Marbled Godwit 1 Dunlin 50+ Sanderling 10 Laughing Gulls were seen in good numbers and alternate plummage all along the coast.
