I know of at least 2 recent records- Dick Holman reported a brood at Hughes Hollow in 2001 on MDOSPREY and I found a brood there in the mid 1990's (don't have time now to look up the exact date).. My experience tells me that this species probably nests every year in the Seneca-Hughes Hollow area, but much of the potential nesting habitat is not easily accessible.
