However, I located three Cooper's Hawks, one was perched on what might have been an old squirrel nest at the fork of a tall, thin deciduous tree, the second close by in same tree, a third further away in another tree. During the time I watched, two birds were soaring together; one calling. I also saw one bird carrying what appeared to be nesting material towards the structure. Paul and I look forward to keeping an eye on the site.
