Late Saturday afternoon I had most of the same birds that Matt Hafner =
reported at Lake Elkhorn
1 female Greater Scaup
1 RN Grebe
I either overlooked the horned grebe or it had moved on by the time I got =
there.

On the way back from Columbia on Sunday I looked for RN Grebes and Little =
Gulls in Baltimore along the Back River. I didn't find either but there =
were at least 200 Bonaparte's Gulls along Diamond Point Road (possibly =
more as they seemed to be moving in and out quite a bit). I checked other =
points along Marlynn Road and out at Rocky Point Golf Course before =
getting on 95 and heading North where there were decent sized rafts of =
Scaup (hundreds). I then had the afforementioned LITTLE GULL at Lapidum =
Landing (thanks for posting Matt !) and 2 RED NECKED GREBES there as well. =
I went to BaldFriar Road (where I may have been trespassing according to =
signs). I had one RN GREBE there close to the shore on the Cecil side. I =
left there quickly and went around 695 and had at least one (either a fast =
underwater swimmer or there were 2) RN GREBE at Piney Run Park in Carroll =
County. There were also 4 COMMON LOONS at Piney Run Park.

J.B.
