I cannot remember the last time I thought the wind might actually blow me over). Anyway, before the wind and snow hit, I saw a Yellow-rumped Warbler, described below: white throat white breast with black streaks yellow patch on crown yellow patch at bend on wing underside of tail feathers were white wing bars I never saw the yellow rump because the bird was so high up. I did not think much of it because I know that Yellow-rumped Warblers are sometimes seen on Christmas bird counts in northern areas, and I've always kind of assumed Yellow-rumped Warblers were not uncommon this time of year. However, my "Birds of Pennsylvania" states that this species shows up in the second week of April. I still have not gotten a "Yellow Book" for Maryland, although I've looked for it in several bookstores. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
