The flurry of Savannahs last week seems to have passed. We did find 65 COMMON SNIPE and 6 GREEN-WING TEAL. A GREAT BLUE HERON carrying a fish was a puzzle? Any thoughts? Courtship?? I know of no nesting pairs confirmed nearby. I know they don't "carry" food to young. There were 2 LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH at Henryton but not much else.
