A quick tour of the Tidal Basin at lunch produced the following:
  Train bridge over the Potomac
   (1) Osprey soaring

  Tidal Basin
  (6) Red-necked Grebes
  a couple dozen gulls, Ring-billed, Herring and Greater Black-backed
  a couple dozen Double-crested Cormorants

  DC Veteran's Memorial
  (1)  Golden-crowned Kinglet
  (1)  Northern Flicker
  (1) Downy Woodpecker
  (2) Eastern Phoebes
  Lots of Robins
  Lots of Dark-eyed Juncos
  Singing Mockingbirds, Titmice, Chickadees

Still sort of an early Spring assortment
